A Missoula man is accused of dealing drugs in Lake County.

Brandon A. Bramlette, 36, entered a plea of not guilty in District Court in Polson Aug. 14 to felony counts of criminal possession with intent to distribute and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

According to court records, on May 24, Lake County’s 911 center received an anonymous tip that a person tried to sell them fentanyl at a casino in Polson, but had driven to the Ridgewater subdivision on the southern edge of Polson.

A traffic stop was made on the suspect's vehicle and Bramlette was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

According to court records, the arresting officer could smell burnt fentanyl and Bramlette “had soot on his face.”

Bramlette’s black Ford F-150 was seized and a search of it allegedly turned up a fanny pack with Bramlette’s passport and temporary driver’s license. A search of the Ford’s center console allegedly yielded a container with more than 100 pills, a zip-lock baggie of suspected methamphetamine, 18 yellow pills and 32 other pills.

Judge Molly Owen set the case for trial Feb. 3, 2025. Bramlette is at liberty on his own recognizance.
