Ten Lake County players named to Northwest A All-Conference
Polson had six football players and Ronan had four players named to the All-Northwest A Conference team after the 2024 season.
The Chiefs’ Kolby Finley was named a first-team safety and a second-team quarterback when the awards were announced. Finley was also named to the Class A All-State team.
Teammate Laurance Lozeau was named to the conference first-team as an outside linebacker, while offensive lineman Jackson Davis and inside linebacker Dom McKay were honorable mentions.
Ronan finished the season 4-5, winning three of their last five games.
Polson offensive lineman Brody Bulette was named to the conference second team, and defensive lineman Jerium Rushing was also named.
Fellow offensive lineman Garrett Wilmar, quarterback Holden Emerson, defensive lineman Astin Brown, and defensive end Cody Haggard were honorable mentions.
Polson started the year 3-1 but faded down the stretch, finishing 4-4.
Holden rushed for 556 yards, 10 touchdowns and passed for another 663 yards, three touchdowns. He has more than 1,000 yards rushing for the Pirates and over 2,000 yards passing in his career.
Rushing had 26 tackles and 11 assists during the year, while Brown had 18 tackles and 18 assists.
