Op-Ed correction

An op-ed by Elena Evans that appeared in last week's newspaper contained a regrettable error, say its authors. It was Jennifer Fielder who won the most votes in Sanders County, not Elena Evans as the op-ed claimed.
The error resulted from the transposition of two columns of data by a member of Elena's campaign, and it has been corrected in the digital version of the op-ed. Elena Evan's campaign apologizes for this mistake and extends our thanks to the Lake County Leader for publishing this correction.
