S&K Gaming seeks name for new casino

S&K Gaming plans to break ground in the spring of 2025 on new gaming facilities located north of the Polson Airport. But first, the new casino needs a name.

“Your creativity could make a lasting impression, and there’s a $500 cash prize for the winning entry,” according to information released by S&K Gaming, the corporation that oversees Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ gaming operations.

According to S&K’s press release, “The name should be meaningful and reflect the spirit of the community.”

Submissions should include the proposed name; reason, background, story, or meaning behind the proposed name; any additional information that might be relevant; and the name, address and phone number of the person submitting the entry.
