Page crosses career milestone in Mission win over Arlee

Kason Page crossed the 800-point milestone in her career, scoring nine points as the Bulldogs picked up a 66-13 victory over their Lake County rival Arlee on Friday, Dec. 13.

Mission jumped out to a 33-6 lead in the first quarter and had a 50-10 halftime lead. Arlee would score only three points in the fourth quarter.

The Scarlets dropped to 1-2 on the year with the loss.

Shaedon Kain led Mission with 13 points, while Cora Matt and Madison Incashola had 10 points apiece.

Saiawna Haynes’ five points led Arlee, while Amilia Bartell added four points.

Mission improved to 2-1 overall with the win.

Scarlets drop matchup against Noxon

Arlee led in the first quarter but fell to Noxon 36-22 in non-league girls basketball action on Saturday, Dec. 14, at home.

Kaylee Tanner led the Scarlets with nine points, and Leah Mesteth notched eight points. Arlee led 7-6 after one quarter but trailed 16-12 at halftime. Noxon went on a 12-5 run in the third quarter.

Arlee fell to 1-2 on the year with the loss.

Two Eagle drops two

Two Eagle fell to 0-4 on the year with a loss to Plains on Friday, Dec. 13, and Ronan’s JV squad on Thursday, Dec. 12.

Against Plains, the Trotters scored 20 points in the first quarter and 22 in the second en route to a 61-12 win over Two Eagle.

Lexis Sparks led the Lady Eagles with four points, while Emma SpottedEagle also had four points.

On Thursday, Emma Spotted Eagle led Two Eagle with six points but Ronan’s JV proved victorious by a score of 63-11.
