Lady Bulldogs’ comeback falls short against Florence

Mission posted a furious comeback in the fourth quarter but fell 59-50 to Florence in nonleague girls' basketball action on the road on Friday, Dec. 20.

Kason Page had 19 points for the Lady Bulldogs. Mission trailed 35-26 at halftime, and Florence went on an 11-5 run in the third quarter. The Lady Bulldogs outscored their foe 19-13 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t quite close the gap.

Kieran Incashola had 14 points, while Cora Matt and Brooklyn McClure each had six points.

Mission fell to 2-2 on the year with the loss.
