Two Eagle falls to Lincoln, downs Heart Butte

Lincoln had a strong start to a nonleague matchup against Two Eagle en route to a 59-36 victory on Friday, Dec. 20.
Nine different Two Eagle players scored for the Eagles, but it took them until the second quarter to break double digits, and the Lynx had a 43-23 halftime lead.
Jayvian Burke and Jason Trahan led the Eagles with seven points each, while Thomas Addison had six points. Two Eagle fell to 2-4 on the year with the loss.
Addison scored 26 points for Two Eagle, helping defeat Heart Butte 66-39 in nonleague boys basketball action last Thursday. The Eagles got off to a hot start, turning a six-point lead in the first quarter into a 29-18 halftime advantage.
Two Eagle continued to push the issue, outscoring Heart Butte by six points in the third and 10 in the fourth.
Burke notched 12 points and Kayson AfterBuffalo had 10. The win was the Eagles’ second of the year.
