Class B Boys: Warriors continue to roll

Arlee continues on a roll 

Arlee had a big first quarter and picked up a rivalry victory over nonleague foe Charlo 67-55 at home on Saturday, Jan. 27. Ben Harlow-Old Person led the Warriors with 19 points, while Hayden Hollow led the Vikings with 19 points.

Arlee jumped out to a 24-10 lead in the first quarter and went into the break with a 33-24 advantage. The Warriors added seven points to their lead in the third quarter and cruised to the win despite Charlo's push in the fourth.

Ethan Diffler added nine points to Arlee's total, while Jace Arca had eight. Charlo saw 14 points from Wesley Anderson.

The Warriors improved to 12-1 on the year with the victory, while Charlo dropped to 8-6.

Warriors power past Deer Lodge

Ten different Warrior players scored and Arlee picked up a 78-49 Western 6B victory over Deer Lodge Friday, Jan. 26. Ben Harlow-Old Person led Arlee with 17 points, while Kendall O'Neill added 13.

Arlee opened the game with a 27-4 run against Deer Lodge and had a 46-24 advantage at halftime. The Warriors also finished the game on an 18-7 run in the fourth.

Jake Knoll added 10 points to the Warriors total, and Arlee improved to 4-1 in league play.

T-Falls picks up win over Mission

Thompson Falls used a big run in the third quarter en route to a 73-42 Western 7B victory over Mission on Thursday, Jan. 25. Lex LaFrombois scored 16 for the Bulldogs, while Landon Walks Over Ice added 14.

Thompson Falls led 22-11 after one quarter and took a 39-29 lead into halftime. The Blue Hawks went on a 25-4 run in the third quarter to keep the game in control.

Mission fell to 2-3 in league play, while Thompson Falls improved to 5-1.

Mission wins second game of season

Lex LaFrombois dropped 36 points for Mission, which won its second game of the year – an 81-71 track meet against Western 7B foe Troy on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

The Bulldogs took a 19-10 lead in the first quarter, but Troy outscored them 26-18 in the second quarter to pull within 37-36 at halftime.

In the second half, Mission outscored Troy by three points in the third and six in the fourth. It was their highest-scoring game of the year.

Jose O'Brien added 24 points for Mission, while Landon Walks Over Ice added 18.
