Two Eagle downs St. Regis

Two Eagle surged ahead of St. Regis in the fourth quarter for the 43-41 Western 14C victory on Friday, Feb. 9. Jodessa McGreevey led the Eagles with 14 points, while Dayani Piapot notched 10.

Two Eagle led St. Regis 16-15 at halftime, but the Lady Tigers took a three-point lead in the third quarter.

The Eagles outscored St. Regis 18-13 in the final quarter for the victory.

The Lady Eagles finished the regular season 2-6 in league play, which earned them fourth place in the league standings heading into districts.

Charlo slices past Hot Springs

Charlo jumped out to a lead early, and continued to add to it during a 60-39 Western 14C victory on Friday, Feb. 9. Sheadon Kain led the Lady Vikings with 15 points, while Darcy Coleman notched nine points.

Charlo led 30-12 at halftime after Hot Springs was held to single-digits in each of the first two quarters.

Seeley McDonald added eight points to the Lady Viking's efforts.

Noxon outlasts Two Eagle

Noxon used an 8-2 run in the third quarter to get past Two Eagle 36-29 in Western 14C basketball action on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The Red Devils led 22-21 at halftime and were able to get a more substantial lead after the break.

Dayani Piapot led the Lady Eagles with nine points, while Emma Spotted Eagle had five points.
