Bill Pittsley, 52

Bill Pittsley, age 52, passed away Nov. 1, 2023, in Libby, where he lived with his wife, Celeste. Bill was born in Missoula. He attended school in Missoula, Butte and Tacoma, Wash., and graduated from Polson.

He loved playing football and wrestling. He loved to be in the woods where he could hunt and fish and he loved spending time with his dad and brother, Brian.

After high school, Bill joined the Army where he was in the 101st Airborne Division as a Flight Engineer. Bill had various jobs such as home building, working at the Troy mine and as lead mechanic at Glacier International Airport.

Bill is survived by his parents, Bill and Marilyn Pittsley; his wife, Celeste, and his daughters, Michele Crocker (Jason), Haley Pittsley and Rachel Pittsley; his granddaughter, Lauren Steward; his brother, Brian (Michelle) and their children, Amelia (Stephen) and daughter Louetta Clinkenbeard, Hunter (Grace), Sage, Ash and Taitum.

He will be missed by all his family and friends.
