Inman, Arca named to Shrine Game roster
Two Lake County athletes were named to the 77th Annual Montana East-West game, to be played June 15 in Billings.
Charlo defensive tackle Titan Inman, at 6’7” and 320 pounds, was named a West Team alternate, as was 5’11” 190-pound Arlee running back Jace Arca.
Charlo went 6-3 in the regular season before losing in the first round of the eight-man state playoffs, while Arlee went 9-1 and reached the eight-man Quarterfinals. Arca also led the team with 25 touchdowns on offense.
The Montana East-West Shrine Game has been played since 1947, and the top football players from each side of the state are selected to play in the game. Proceeds from the game go to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Spokane, where expert care is provided regardless of a family’s ability to play. Montana has the top Shrine Game in the nation for hospital donations.
The East Team will be coached by Rob Stanton of Billings West. Pat Duchien of Florence-Carlton will coach the West Team.
