Lady Bulldogs take out Arlee, T-Falls

Mission shut out Arlee in the second half en route to a 62-20 victory over their Lake County rival in non-league Class B basketball action on Saturday, Jan. 6.

Cora Matt’s 17 points led the Lady Bulldogs, while Kason Page added 11 points, and Izzy Evans had eight.

Mission led 18-9 after one quarter, pushing that advantage to 32-20 at the half.

Kieran Incashola and Ellanah Flat Lip each had seven points for the Lady Bulldogs.

Lady Bulldogs thump T-Falls

Mission got off to a strong start in the first half against Thompson Falls on their way to a 54-38 Western 7B victory on Friday, Jan. 5. The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 34-21 lead in the first half and cruised in the second half as four Mission players scored in double digits.

Kason Page led the Lady Bulldogs with 15 points, while Cora Matt and Ellannah Flat Lip each added 11. Kieran Incashola had 10 points.

It was Mission's first league victory of the year and Thompson Falls’ first league loss.
