St. Ignatius Seniors: Brave bingo players
Thank you to all who braved the cold and snow to play bingo last Saturday. We had fun, stayed warm, ate snacks, celebrated a birthday and enjoyed the company. We are happy to say due to the number of players we were able to pay out $100 for the Blackout this time.
There is some news that we need to let everyone know: there will be an increase in the cost of the meals by $1 in February due to the increased cost of food supplies, power, heat and other supplies.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a meal at the center at noon Fridays and Tuesdays and 5:30 p.m. select Wednesdays. Menus are available via email, mail, or at the center. If you are interested in a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. and leave a message.
Main dishes, all served at noon, include pulled pork sandwiches, Jan. 19; clam chowder, Jan. 23; chili with fry bread, Jan. 26; and chicken casserole Jan. 30.
The center is still looking for a bookkeeper/manager.
Gentle Yoga meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays (call 406-253-0177); and Foot Hills Club gathers at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays for snacks and cards.
The center has several personal-care items available to lend, including walkers, canes, crutches, commodes and a bath bench. The facility is also available to rent; please call 406-745-4462 and leave a message.
