Warriors fall to Rams

Arlee dropped its first game of the season, falling to Western 6B foe Missoula Loyola 84-54 on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Missoula Loyola moved to 9-0 on the season in this matchup of undefeated squads.

Ben Harlow-Old Person continued to light up the scoreboard, scoring 26 points in the contest. Missoula-Loyola jumped out to a 22-14 lead in the first quarter and had a 48-32 advantage at halftime.

The Rams added four more points to their lead in the third quarter and finished the game with a 22-10 run. The Warriors also got 15 points from Ethan Fidler.

It was the lowest point total of the season for the Warriors, who had been averaging 73 points per game going into the Missoula-Loyola matchup. The Rams are continuing their success from the 2022-23 campaign when they went 25-1 overall and 8-0 in league action.

Scarlets drop league opener to Loyola

Arlee fell to 2-6 on the season, dropping their Western 6B opener against Missoula Loyola 64-10 on the road. The Breakers snagged a 30-2 lead in the first quarter, and its defense continued to keep the Scarlets contained on the scoreboard.

Missoula Loyola improved to 7-2 on the year and 2-0 in league play. It was the lowest point total for the Scarlets on the season.
