Polson Seniors: Super 1 to the rescue
A special thanks to Super One Foods of Polson for allowing use of their freezer to store food from one of our disabled commercial kitchen freezers. Their rapid and generous response allowed us to salvage our frozen food supplies.

Tax assistance through AARP is available at our center Thursdays and Mondays, starting Feb. 1. Pick up and fill out packets before your appointment.
Tai Chi classes meet 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 23- Feb. 27. This slow and relaxing movement exercise helps with balance and flexibility. The six-week session is $30 for non-members with a $15 discount for members of Polson Senior Center.
Senior bowling is available at 1 p.m. Tuesdays ($13 lane fee).
Activities at the Polson center, open to all, include: self-guided, video-assisted exercise, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; bingo, 6:30 p.m. Fridays ($100 blackout), with playing card bingo on the first and third Wednesdays; pinochle, noon-3 p.m. Thursdays (late arrivals welcome). The pool table is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays. Inquire at the center about bridge.
A new space for card/board games is available. Gather your friends to meet on a scheduled basis for the winter/spring months or longer. Sign up with a suggested day and time.
A veteran’s representative will visit the center Friday, Feb. 2, and Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m.-noon.
Meals are available for sit-down, take-out or delivery from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays; a suggested donation of $5 helps support the nutrition program. The menu is posted each week at the center, although it’s subject to change. Call before 10 a.m. for Grab-n-Go.
Upcoming main dishes include: Polish dogs, Jan. 25; birthday dinner for lunch, honoring those born in January and featuring a traditional roast beef dinner and birthday cake, Jan. 26; split pea soup, Jan. 29; chicken cordon bleu casserole, Jan. 20; and beef stroganoff, Jan. 31.
