Dillon defeats Mariners B Team

Dillon scored 12 runs in the third inning on its way to a 22-3 victory over the Mission Valley B team in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 25. The Cubs then won the second game 20-14.

Carson Emerson had two hits and a double in the loss.

The second game saw more offense from Mission Valley, but the Cubs used a 10-run second inning to take control of the game. The Mariners had 16 hits as a team but committed eight errors.

Liam Wills hit a home run and drove in two runs. Luke Horner, Carson Emerson, and Noah Agliano each had three hits. Horner, Emerson, Agliano and Keaven Stinger finished the game with two RBI apiece.

Bridger Adams, Amerson Stinger, Horner, and Agliano each had doubles as well.

Mariners split doubleheader against Missoula

The Mission Valley B team won the front end of a doubleheader 11-1 against the Missoula Mavericks B team on Wednesday, June 26, but fell to the Mavericks 12-11 in the nightcap.

In the first game, Missoula was held to just two hits by Liam Wills, Paxson DuMont and Cole Wadsworth. Meanwhile, DuMont went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs, while Cole Wadsworth also drove in two runs in the victory.

Mission Valley scored four runs in the first inning and six more in the bottom of the fifth.

In the second game, Missoula scored seven runs in the final two innings for the 12-11 win. Mission Valley finished the game with 16 hits, including a 4-for-4 performance by Cole Wadsworth and a 3-for-4 performance by Eli Evenson. Wadsworth finished with two RBI while Evenson had three RBI. Wadsworth also had a double.

Paxson DuMont was 3-for-5 with an RBI while Maddox Bird was 2-for-5. Wills had an RBI and a double. Cole Wadsworth also had a double.

Mission Valley thumps Kalispell

Mission Valley scored 10 runs in the final three innings for a 13-3 victory over the Kalispell 14U squad on Thursday, June 27. Liam Wills struck out five and allowed two hits in five innings of work.

Maddox Bird had a double, while Paxson DuMont drove in three runs. Wills also drove in a run as did Ryan Lake.

Flyers defeat Mariners

The 406 Flyers defeated the Mission Valley B Team 7-2 on Saturday, June 29. The Mariners finished with four hits, including a double by Luke Horner.

Cole Wadsworth drove in a run for the Mariners, but 406 scored five runs in the top of the third for the victory. Maddox Bird pitched the first five innings for Mission Valley, striking out five.
