Frederick Jude "Fred" Innerbichler, 72
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Frederick (Fred) Jude Innerbichler of Polson. Fred was born in Hermosa Beach, Calif., on Sept. 14, 1951, to Fred H. Innerbichler and Manuelita (Landavazo) Innerbichler of Anaheim, Calif. He passed away on July 4, 2024, at 8:14 p.m., just in time to watch the fireworks show while he left Earth.
Fred grew up in Anaheim with his parents and his two older brothers. He graduated from Loara High School in 1969, and then attended Cypress College where he studied Theater Arts, Lighting, Set Design and Forms of Government. It was there that he met his first wife, Sharlene (Ueberroth) Innerbichler-Blea. They had four beautiful daughters together.
In 1986 Fred met his second wife, Melodie (Brown) Innerbichler, and later welcomed another daughter and a son. During his time in California, he worked as a carpenter. Fred was a skilled craftsman and liked woodworking.
In 1991 Fred moved to Polson for an opportunity to work as a manager for Tamsco (later DRS Technologies). Polson is where he found his forever home with his family.
Fred loved Montana and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He loved musical theater and would often be heard by his children singing tunes in the morning while he made them breakfast. He loved his children more than anything. They were his pride and joy.
He loved baseball and coached many softball teams for his kids over the years. He also enjoyed playing pool and played in several leagues. He had a friendly demeanor and liked to talk and socialize with whomever crossed his path. His sense of humor and reassuring winks will be sorely missed.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Arthur Innerbichler.
Fred leaves behind his six children, Kameron Sakaguchi (Innerbichler) of San Antonio, Texas, Dana Innerbichler of Kalispell, Dione (Innerbichler) Davis and husband Brent Davis of Hayward, Calif., Andria Innerbichler of Loma Linda, Calif., Hiliary Innerbichler of Stanton, Calif., and Damian Innerbichler of Polson. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, his brother, Nicholas Innerbichler of Magdalena, N.M., and six nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Bridge Church in Polson on Sept. 15, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Fred’s name to St. Patrick House, P.O. Box 4587, Missoula, 59806, 406-329-5640, foundation.providence.org.
