Polson Seniors: Congrats to grads

Congratulations to the high school and college graduates.

We have space available to rent for all kinds of celebrations. Catering may be available.

Monthly meals and activities calendars are available at the center.

We need help in the kitchen and with meal deliveries. Call or visit us.

Activities at the Polson center, open to all, include: wood carving for beginners, 1 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, join any week; self-guided, video-assisted exercise, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, sitting or standing; bingo, 6:30 p.m. Fridays ($100 blackout), with playing card bingo on the first and third Wednesdays; pinochle, 12:30-3 p.m. Thursdays; Wednesday is game day – bring a game and a group of friends from 1-3 p.m.

The pool table is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays. Inquire at the center about bridge.

A veteran’s representative visits the center on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month.

Meals are available for sit-down, take-out or delivery from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays; a suggested donation of $5 helps support the nutrition program. The menu is posted each week at the center, although it’s subject to change. Call before 10 a.m. for grab-n-go.

Upcoming main dishes include: baked chicken, June 6; ham, cheese and egg bake, June 7; beef-barley soup, June 10;  pork chops, June 11; meatloaf and baked potatoes, June 12; and tater-tot casserole, June 13.
