Polson Seniors: Just fly the U.S. flag
June 14 is Flag Day. Not tree flags, snake flags, rainbow flags or vulgar flags. Just the United States Flag.
June 16 is Father’s Day. Do not buy him a tie.
June 19 is Juneteenth. It is a national holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the United States.
June 20 is the Summer Solstice. The longest day of sunlight in the year – about 16 hours long where we live. Way North, in the Arctic, the sun never sets. From now until December, the hours of daylight will decline. This summer could be a long, dry, fiery season from what I’ve been told. I hope they are fibbing me.
