Dolores Carlson, 67
Dolores “Dee” Elaine Carlson of Polson, age 67, passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 19, 2024. Her physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her in Heaven.
Dee was born Feb. 22, 1957, in Polson. She graduated from Polson High School in 1975 and that same year, she married Michael Virga and two children were born from this union. However, they divorced in 1989.
In 1997, Dee met her soul mate and love of her life, Dale Carlson, and they were united in marriage.
Dee was a long-time resident of Polson with her husband, Dale. Dee lived throughout Montana most of her life, but God always brought her back to Polson.
Dee loved the lake and spent most of her time at her retirement home in Big Arm.
Dee has joined her mother, father, sister and grandparents and several family members in heaven.
Dee leaves behind her husband, Dale Carlson; her daughter, Heather (Jorge) Villarreal, her son Richard (Courtney) Virga, and foster daughter Amy McManaman; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she cherished and loved. Dee also leaves behind eight brothers and one sister: Steven (Wanda) Heintz, Lee (Susie) Heintz, Tony (Eva) Heintz, Pamela (Norm) Anderson, Kurt Folden and Clint (Kim) Folden, Tony Grant, Cody Grant and Rick Grant, Chrystal Gast, and many nieces and nephews.
Dee was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and was a loyal servant of God.
John 11:25-26: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’”
There will be a graveside service for Dee on July 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Polson and a reception for family and friends afterwards at New Life Church. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family online at lakefuneralhomeandcremation.com.
Arrangements are under the care of The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory.
