Notice of Close of Regular Voter Registration and Option for Late Registration Notice is hereby given that regular* registration for all School Trustee Elections, the Arlee Rural Fire District, the Chief Cliff Fire Service Area, the Polson Rural Fire District, and the Arlee/Lake County Water and Sewer District Elections to be held on May 7, 2024, will close at 5:00 pm, on April 8, 2024.    *NOTE: After regular registration has closed, late registration is available at the county election office until 8 pm on Election Day. *There is an active lawsuit regarding Montana’s late registration deadline, and the deadline may be subject to change.  Voters in School District #73 must register at the Lake County Election Office and bring proof of registration to their school clerk to be issued a ballot. Voters in Arlee #8J and Charlo #7J School Districts who do not reside in Lake County must register in Sanders or Missoula County accordingly.
