Friends of the Library Used Book Sale – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 15 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 16 at the North Lake County Public Library in Polson; donations will be accepted March 14. Donation guidelines are on the website, northlakecountylibrary.org.

Bake Sale – 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 16 at the Mission Valley United Methodist Church at the top of Post Creek Hill; shop for homemade banana bread, zucchini bread, cookies, cake and many more goodies.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – 2 p.m. March 17 on Main Street in Ronan; celebrate the 35th year of blarney and debauchery at this annual event. Entries should line up at 1:30 p.m. west of St. Luke Hospital. Prizes will be given after the parade at the Pheasant Lounge in categories including Most Irish, Best Irish Animal, Greenest Float, Greenest Sports team and Biggest Shamrocks and more.

“Cats Versus Birds: Relationship Between the Decline in North American Bird Populations and Cats” – 6 p.m. March 20 at Ninepipes Lodge, Charlo; Dave Manuwal, who has a doctorate in Wildlife Science, presents this installment of the free Conservation Speaker Series.

Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m. March 24 at Ninepipes Lodge, Charlo; the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; call 406-644-2588 to schedule. An Easter Bazaar is also on tap from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Open Mic and Jam – 7 p.m. Fridays at the Western Montana Musicians Co-op, Ronan; also on tap is a weekly Community Jam at 7 p.m. Saturdays. The cooperative is located in the Red Poppy Building, 1 Eisenhower St. SW in Ronan. Learn more at www.mtmusic.org.
