Fisher homers in Ronan victory over Mission-Arlee

Ronan knocked out 14 hits in a 17-0 victory over Lake County rival Mission-Arlee on Monday, May 6. Liam Wills pitched a no-hitter, striking out nine batters along the way and just walking two.

The Chiefs led 2-0 through two innings but then rallied for 11 runs in the top of the third.

Tristan Fisher, Coleton Sherman and DaVonne Curley had two-hit games, while Wills helped his own cause going 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

Fisher had a home run and drove in three runs, while Treysin also drove in three runs. Ben Mitchell had a double and knocked in two runs, as did Everett Lozeau.

Chiefs power past Browning

Ronan scored eight runs in the first inning on its way to a 15-0 West Division victory over Browning on Friday, May 10. Ben Mitchell, Hunter Luedtke, Liam Wills, and DaVonne Curley combined to allow one hit.

Cash Atkinson and Everett Lozeau each drove in two runs, and Lozeau had two hits, as did Hunter Luedtke, who also had an RBI. Mitchell and Joseph Fulwiler also had a double.

Ronan finished with 13 hits as a team.

Ronan falls to Bigfork

Bigfork scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth and downed Ronan 7-5 in West Division action on Saturday, May 11. Ben Mitchell had two triples in the matchup, while Cash Atkinson had a double.

Ronan finished with six hits, and Dante Baltz and DaVonne Curley had RBIs in the matchup.

The Chiefs were tied 2-2 after three innings and took the lead with a run in the top of the fifth thanks to a sac fly by Baltz. Ronan would then add two more runs in the top of the fifth.

Bigfork had seven hits in the game, facing up against four different Ronan pitchers.

Ronan fell to 8-10 with the loss.
