St. Ignatius Seniors: Aurora Borealis lights up sky
The Aurora Borealis was beautiful. Hope you were able to see it.
The Women 4 Wellness event is May 23 at Salish Kootenai College in the Joe McDonald Gym. Registration is open at w4w.skc.edu. The event offers all kinds of free health screenings and information. All are welcome.
If you would like a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Friday and by 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Menus are available via email, mail, or at the center. Main dishes include chicken salad sandwiches, noon May 17; goulash, noon May 21; and fish, noon May 24.
The center hosts a yard sale, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 17-18, and a bake sale as well.
Gentle Yoga meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays (call 406-253-0177). A Taiji exercise program starts May 27 at 1 p.m. Mondays.
Our Senior Center is open to people renting it. If you are interested, please call 406-745-4462 and leave a message. Also, there are free puzzles and books on table in entryway for the taking.
The Mission Valley Food Pantry needs a dozen egg cartons. These can be dropped off at the Senior Center and may be left in the entryway when the center isn’t open. The pantry is also looking for volunteers to help. Stop by on Tuesday or Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to learn more.
