Leaf collection continues through November

After an astonishing fall, red, yellow and orange leaves are starting to blanket yards around Polson.
Once again, the City of Polson’s Public Works Department is providing a leaf removal service each Monday in November, and continuing until snow falls.
To make the process as smooth as possible, the department asks residents to place their leaves in biodegradable bags and position them by the street for pickup on designated Mondays. Only biodegradable bags will be collected, and garbage, cans, rocks, bottles, or branches should not be included in the bags.
Those who miss the Monday pickup may call City Hall at 406-883-8200 and alert the Public Works team.
