| November 21, 2024 12:00 AM

Kimberly May Teigen, 47, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Polson on Nov. 7, 2024, receiving great care while there.

She was born to Cliff and Alvina Teigen on May 31, 1977, in Ronan, and was raised and lived there most of her life.

Kim had a love for the great outdoors and animals. As soon as she could, she was out with her dad working, doing all the chores needed for upkeep of the ranch, including having cows and calves. One of her favorite times was branding where the whole family and friends came together to do that.

Her sisters, Nikki and Drenda, helped and her brothers came to help their dad. Tim, Erin, Byron came from out of state to help. Cousins, nieces and nephews, her sons, Andy and Austin, were also there. It was an annual event and fun for all.

She especially loved horses and dogs and had them while working on the ranch, which she did with a great sense of humor, a wonderful smile, and laugh.

Kim worked at various places, but she enjoyed working at the saw mill where her dad had worked for so many years. Her sister Drenda worked there also with her.

She also worked with Berta, who was a contractor, for a few years. They did many projects, painting, drywall, floor insulation, etc., you name it, they did it. They were a jack of all trades. Kim worked hard.

She also did a lot of bar activities and was very good at pool, just like her mom and dad. She made a lot of friends there. She was known to help anyone that needed a hand.

She worked with her uncle Vern changing pipes and working in the hay field.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Alvina, brother Byron, and little sister Melissa.

She is survived by her sisters, Drenda and Nikki; brothers Tim and Erin; sons Andrew and Austin; her Uncle Vern and aunts Dorothy, Pat and Rita; many cousins, nieces and nephews; good friend Autumn; her cousin Charlie, who she laughed so hard with; and lots of loving friends.

She is also survived by her two best buddies who will greatly miss her, her four-legged family Sadie and Rocky.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations for her to be sent to Foster Funeral Home or charities of your choice.

Viewing will be at Foster Funeral Home.

Services will be next spring, May 3, 2025, at the family ranch, where there will be a small memorial branding held and spreading of ashes with a potluck to follow from noon till the cows come home!

The family wishes to thank St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Eaglefeathers, nurses, and hospice workers for the excellent care given at the end of her life.
