Pablo man charged with drug felonies

Thomas Joseph Spotted Eagle, 41, of Pablo appeared in U.S. District Court in Missoula before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kathleen L. DeSoto on drug charges Nov. 18.
He pled not guilty to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth and fentanyl, as well as possession with intent to distribute the two illegal drugs. If convicted of the most serious crime, Spotted Eagle faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years to life in prison, a $10 million fine and at least five years of supervised release.
Spotted Eagle was detained pending further proceedings. The Northwest Drug Task Force conducted the investigation.
