Polson Seniors: Join center for $15/year

Memberships (new or renewed) are currently being accepted and cost $15 for the year ending Aug. 31, 2025.

Memory Café by Angel Care will be hosting activities for those in need of cognitive support. Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at the center; call 406-409-8149 for details.

Bowling “no-tap” is Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. Have fun knocking those pins down (or not). Call Don at 406-885-5617 for details.

Activities at the Polson center, open to all, include: wood carving for beginners, 1 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, join any week; self-guided, video-assisted exercise, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, sitting or standing; bingo, 6:30 p.m. Fridays ($100 blackout), with playing card bingo on the first and third Wednesdays.

Pinochle is now offered two days a week: 12:30-3 p.m. Thursdays (standard rules), or Mondays, “no-pass, partners” rule. Inquire at the center about bridge.

Wednesday is game day – bring a game and a group of friends from 1-3 p.m. The pool table is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays.

A veteran’s service officer visits the center on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month.

Meals are available for sit-down from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays, and delivered to qualified people who call before 10 a.m. A suggested donation of $5 helps support the nutrition program.

Upcoming main dishes include: beef tips with noodles, Oct. 3; BBQ pork sandwich, Oct. 4; taco salad, Oct. 7; "porcupine" meatballs, Oct. 8; lemon chicken, Oct. 9; and French dip sandwiches, Oct. 10.
