Perry's 3 TDs lead Pirates past Stevensville

Polson improved to 4-2 on the season with a 60-14 victory over Stevensville on Friday, Oct. 4.

Shaedon Perry rushed for 88 yards on five carries with three touchdowns, while Luke Horner added 58 yards on eight carriers and two touchdowns, while Daniel O’Roake had 47 yards on two carries and a score. In all, Polson finished with 197 yards on 21 carries.

Case Cox passed for 65 yards and two touchdowns.

Polson jumped out to a 35-0 lead in the first quarter, with Perry scoring the Pirates first two touchdowns, while O’Roake had a 31-yard score on the ground. Perry scored his third touchdown, and then Cox rounded out the first half scoring with a two-yard touchdown pass to Brayson DuMont for a 41-8 halftime lead.

Cox would score again with a four-yard pass to Eli Evenson in the third quarter, while Horner would run it in for 30 yards out. In the fourth quarter, Horner returned a 65-yard kickoff for a score to round out Polson’s scoring.

Mason Alexander led the Pirates with four solo tackles.
