Polson girls take out Stevensville, again

The Polson girls picked up an important season sweep over South A Conference foe Stevensville, defeating them 4-2 on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Mady Luikart had a goal and an assist in the game. Mackiniz Bartel scored first for the Lady Pirates on a Vivian Grainey assist. Luikart scored in the 20th minute.

After halftime, Kellyn Nelson scored in the 64th minute, and Amelia Stene scored the game-winning goal from a Luikart pass.

Polson improved to 6-3-1 overall and 5-2 in the conference, keeping itself in the playoff picture with the conference’s No. 3 seed as the regular season winds down. 

Lady Pirates down Stevensville

Polson picked up a 1-0 victory over Stevensville as Mady Luikart notched a goal on an assist from Kila Cannon on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
