Polson harrier Delaney wins Hamilton Invite

Polson sophomore continues to tear up the cross-country season, posting her third race win and sixth top-3 finish at the Hamilton Invite on Saturday, Oct. 5. Delaney had a time of 18:49.20, while her teammate Kimora Scott was fifth (20:50.10).

Ronan’s Annie Adams was 23rd (22:19.07) and Mission’s Elsie Deter was 24th (22:26.12). 

On the boys’ side, Polson’s David DiGiallonardo placed second with a time of 16:43.11.

Mission’s Harlon Leishman placed fourth (16:55.21) while Ronan’s Jacob Piapot rounded out the top ten, placing tenth (17:26.76).

Ronan’s Tayen Edmo was 11th (17:27.83) and his teammate William Normandeau was 21st (18:15.85). Ronan would finish fourth in team scoring.

Polson’s Wyatt Boogerd was 22nd (18:16.02).

Leishman wins guppy run

Mission’s Harlon Leishman won the Hatchery Challenge Guppy Run in Arlee on Tuesday, Oct. 1 posting a time of 17:12.38. Arlee’s Trevor VanMaanen placed ninth in the boys race (19:37.45), while Two Eagle’s Jamian Adams was 10th (19:38.41).

Mission’s Sawyer Pule helped add to the Bulldogs’ team points, placing 13th with a mark of 20:04.47. Mission would go on to place second in the team scoring as Jason Leishman would finish 23rd (21:31.45) to tighten up the Bulldog’s third finisher scoring.

Two Eagle River’s Lochlyn Rinley was 14th (20:24.44) and Arlee’s Jason Wright was 20th (21:13.60). Aiden Swab was 24th for the Warriors with a time of 21:35.95.

Mission’s Branson Zempel was 25th (21:37.07).

On the girls side, Arlee’s Anola Naugle was second (21:03.42) while Mission’s Elsie Deter was sixth (22:15.21). The Lady Bulldogs also got a 12th place finish was Brooklyn Leishman (23:52.72).
