Farris-Olsen best pick for Clerk of Supreme Court

| October 17, 2024 12:00 AM

As an attorney practicing here in Lake County, I understand firsthand how critical it is to have competent and impartial administrators running clerks' offices for our courts. The positions are not about politics, but about ensuring the wheels of justice turn smoothly for everyone.

That’s why I’m supporting Erin Farris-Olsen for Clerk of the Montana Supreme Court.

Erin’s experience makes her more than qualified. As a former law clerk for the Montana Supreme Court and the administrator of the Court’s self-help program, she has proven her dedication to improving access to justice for all Montanans. In particular, her leadership in assisting self-represented litigants shows that she knows how to run an efficient, fair office while serving the needs of the public.

In contrast, Erin’s opponent, Bowen Greenwood, has prioritized a partisan agenda over the integrity of the courts. The Clerk’s office should never be used as a political tool, and Erin is committed to keeping it neutral and focused on serving Montanans, not special interests.

For these reasons, I encourage all Montanans to join me in voting for Erin Farris-Olsen. She will bring competence and integrity to the office of Clerk of the Montana Supreme Court.
