Matt leads Mission to win over Troy

Mission got 17 kills from Cora Matt in a 25-21, 25-17, 18-25, 22-25, 15-5 victory over Troy in Western 7B volleyball action on Saturday, Oct. 19. Matt also had an incredible six blocks at the net.

Alecia Steele was also strong on the attack, with 14 kills.

Jada Domebo distributed 25 assists and served up three aces. Her teammate Amelia Cronk also had three aces and 11 assists.

On defense, Madison Incashola had 12 digs, while Alecia Steele had nine and Kensey Burke had eight.

Mission fell to home to Eureka on Thursday, October 17, in Western 7B volleyball action by a score of 25-13, 25-23, 25-6. Steele had 13 digs and three kills, while Matt had two aces and three kills.

Cronk had six assists, and Incashola had five digs.

Mission is now 6-8 on the season and 4-6 in league play.
