Rep. Reksten is no "rubber stamp"

| September 5, 2024 12:00 AM

We are writing in support of Linda Reksten, current representative for HD13. In a recent letter to the editor, written by a gentleman whose wife ran against Linda last term and lost, Linda was referred to as a “rubber-stamp.”

That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Linda has worked on many committees, which we all know means working on a bi-partisan level. She was Vice Chair of Education this last term working hard to improve student achievement and improving starting pay for new teachers.

She has served on House Administration and has worked on many election integrity bills, worked with Fish, Wildlife and Parks and she has served on several local government committees.

Another letter urges you to support Linda’s opponent “to ensure that our voice is heard in Helena.” Has this individual attempted to communicate with Linda with any of their concerns or wishes? Probably not.

Linda is a mere phone call or an email away and is incredible at responding. Give it a try!

We encourage you to vote for Linda Reksten so she can continue working for and doing what matters to Montanans.
