Ronan tried to battle back against Bigfork but ultimately fell to the Vikings 41-26 in Northwestern A Conference play on Friday, Sept. 6.

Trailing 20-6 in the first half, the Chiefs scored 20 points in the third quarter but could not keep pace with the Viking’s offense.

Bigfork went up 13-0 in the first quarter before Ronan found the endzone on a 10-yard touchdown pass by Michael Ramirez. Bigfork, however, would score again before halftime.

Ronan outscored Bigfork 20-14 in the third quarter, thanks partly to two touchdown passes from Kolby Finley to Laurance Lozeau. The offensive output, however, would taper off, and the Chiefs wouldn’t find the endzone in the fourth quarter.

Ronan fell to 0-2 on the season, while Bigfork improved to 2-0.
