Mission Valley Pedal to Plate – Sept. 21 from Ronan through Valley View; the 40-mile bike ride is capped at 175 riders, who eat local food while touring farms and historical attractions before returning to Ronan for a locally sourced dinner. Harvest Festival – 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Ronan Visitor’s Center; 14th annual event, hosted by the Ronan Chamber of Commerce, includes the Trail of Bales, a vendors’ market, food, music, games and a petting zoo. Visit ronanchamber.com.

Pancake Breakfast – 8:30-11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the historic Big Arm School; the kitchen crew will whip up breakfast of pancakes, scrambled egg, sausage, coffee, and juice. There is no charge, but monetary donations help maintain the historic schoolhouse.

Mission Valley Ducks Unlimited Banquet – 5 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Mission Valley Elks Lodge; raise critical dollars for wetlands conservation. Call 406-382-0518 for tickets

Mission Valley Choral Society Rehearsals – 7-9 p.m. Thursdays, beginning Sept. 26 at the First Presbyterian Church in Polson; weekly practices begin for holiday concerts Dec. 14 and Dec. 15. Cathy Gillhouse directs the choir and welcomes anyone who enjoys singing to participate. Basses and baritones are especially needed.
