| April 11, 2025 12:00 AM

Rachel Jean Booth (Marr), 44, of Plains, stepped into eternal joy in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 3.

Born in Meadville, Pa., on Jan. 21, 1981, Rachel grew up on the family dairy farm riding cows, climbing apple trees, and chasing skunks. In 1990, the family moved to St. Ignatius, Mont.

Growing up in the foothills of the Mission Valley was every kid’s dream come true – hiking, fishing, camping, sledding through the trees, and riding horses with her mother and brothers. After being homeschooled for several years and completing high school, Rachel continued her education as a Pharmaceutical Technician in Polson.

On Aug. 6, 2005, Rachel married the love of her life, Alan Booth, with whom she raised two sons, Mychael (35) and Tyler (30), as well as six children of her own during their 20 years of marriage – Tanner (18), Kolton (16), Blake (13), Connor (10), Rylee (6), and Brant (3).

Rachel was an incredible sister, daughter, friend, wife, mother, and woman of faith to all who knew her. She was well known for her sense of humor, her laughter, and her love for Jesus which is demonstrated in the faith of her children.

The only daughter of Gary and Audrey Marr (White) of Plains, Rachel was preceded in death by her older brother, Matthew. She is survived by her husband, children and parents; her brothers, Mark Marr and his wife, Merissa, of Moscow, Idaho, David Marr and his wife, Nicole, of Kalispell, and Jesse Marr and his wife, Shianne, of Arlington, Texas; as well as 12 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12, at the Church on the Move in Plains.
