Spring is on the way. The willow tree in my yard is budding. People have talked about their crocuses and iris that are coming up.

Coming Saturday, April 19, is a bake sale, raffle and visit from the Easter bunny.

Mandy Jo, the foot care nurse, will be at the center April 28. There are still a few openings. Please call us (406-745-4462) to schedule.

I have to make a correction. I misspelled Eve’s (the Audiologist coming to the Senior Center) last name. The correct spelling is Eve Tolbert. My sincere apologies to Eve.

The Mission Valley Food Pantry in St. Ignatius (203 Blaine Street) is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and the last Saturday of the month instead of Friday. It serves St. Ignatius, Dixon and Arlee. Questions? Call 406-745-5484.

Main dishes served at the center include: fish, Friday, April 18; scalloped potatoes, Tuesday, April 22; and spaghetti, Friday, April 25.

If you would like a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Friday and by 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Menus for the month are available in the entryway of the center, and everyone is welcome (young and old). Come enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation.

Our Senior Center is open to people renting it. If you are interested, please call 406-745-4462 and leave a message. We will call you back with the information you need. If you have questions about obtaining Elder Commodities, call or stop by for information and an application.

Gentle Yoga meets from 1-2:15 p.m. Wednesdays. If you are interested, please call Bonnie Kiser at 406-253-0177.
