Polson and Ronan speech coaches nominated for Coach of Year
Polson Head Coach Mel Butler and Ronan Head Coach Lauren Feese were each nominees for Coach of the Year at the Class A State Speech and Debate Tourney, held last weekend in Laurel.
Assistant coaches are Hugh Kingery, Polson, and Jason Frost, Ronan.
Polson placed 11th overall and Ronan was 13th among the 22 schools competing in the state tourney.
“I couldn't be more proud of our competitors,” Butler said. “They have worked incredibly hard through this very long season. I'm so proud and impressed with each one of them.”
