A Polson man is accused of punching his former girlfriend in the face. Bryce Wyatt Jordan, 24, entered a plea of not guilty in District Court in Polson Feb. 12 to third or subsequent partner or family member assault, a felony.

According to charging documents, on Jan. 29 law enforcement responded to a report of an assault on Polson’s west side. At the scene, officers located two men who indicated that Jordan had assaulted his girlfriend.

The girlfriend told the officers that she had just told Jordan that she was ending her relationship with him. She says he stood up, then punched her in the face. Records show Jordan has two prior convictions for assaulting a partner or family member, one in Polson City Court on May 31, 2022 and the second in Lake County Justice Court on June 3, 2024.

Judge Molly Owen set the case for trial on July 14. Jordan’s bail is set at $10,000.
