St. Ignatius Seniors: Watch “His Girl Friday” on Friday
As we age, life happens, which sometimes makes it difficult to eat healthy foods. These include changes in our living environment, changes in health, medicines, income, changes in sense of smell and taste, difficulty chewing and/or swallowing food.
To eat healthily, we should eat a variety of foods that have a lot of nutrients without a lot of extra calories, such as fruits and vegetables, lean meats, nuts, dried beans, dairy. Avoid “empty calorie” foods such as soda, sweets and alcohol.
“His Girl Friday” with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell will be screened at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 28.
Our next bingo date is March 8.
Main dishes served at the center include: fish with macaroni and cheese, Feb. 28; tacos, March 4; lasagna, March 5; and chicken Alfredo, March 7.
If you would like a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Friday and by 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Menus for the month are available in the entryway of the center and everyone is welcome (young and old). Come enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation.
