Polson Seniors: Happy Bastille Day
Happy Bastille Day! The French celebrate their rebellion (July 14, 1789) from the King of France. The rebellion was sparked by hunger, and the blind eye of the King toward the basic needs of the citizens of France.

Upcoming main dishes include: meatloaf, Thursday, July 10; turkey wraps, Friday, July 11; veggie/beef soup, Monday, July 14; chicken teriyaki, Tuesday, July 15; sloppy joes, Wednesday, July 16; pork chops, Thursday, July 17; and egg strata with blueberries, Friday, July 18.

Bowling “no-tap” is Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. Join any time.
Activities at the Polson center, open to all, include: self-guided, video-assisted exercise, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (move it or lose it!); bingo at 6 p.m. Fridays, with playing card bingo on the first Wednesday of each month.
Pinochle is now offered two days a week: 12:15-3 p.m. Mondays or Thursdays; and the pool table is open for play 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays.
The Spinning Wheelers meet on the first Tuesday of each month (July 1) from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.; call 208-520-1013.
Invite a foursome for Wednesday Play Day to play cards, board games, dominos, mahjong, etc.
A veteran’s service officer visits the center on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month.
Sit-down meals are available from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays, and delivered to qualified people who call before 10 a.m. A suggested donation of $5 helps support the nutrition program.
