Democrat Spaghetti Dinner – 5:30 p.m. June 13 at the Ronan Senior Citizens Center; Lake County legislators will be on hand to share their experiences during this past session. Dinner contribution is $25.
Fort Connah Rendezvous – 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 14 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. June 15 at Fort Connah, six miles north of St. Ignatius; Saturday's highlights include the Trapper's Run at 9 a.m., opening ceremonies at noon and a muzzleloader shooting contest at 2 p.m., while Sunday brings traditional bow contests at 1 p.m. Horse-drawn wagon riders, a fur-trader village, trading stories, contests, living history demonstrations and children's games from the 1820s are also among the offerings. Drug Awareness and Community Presentation – 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 19 at the North Lake County Public Library; this drug and community presentation will be hosted by Polson Police Department and the Flathead Tribal Police. The meeting will be a valuable opportunity for community members to stay informed and engaged in efforts to address drug-related issues on the Flathead Reservation. Summer Solstice Brewfest – 2-6 p.m. June 21 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Ronan; sample libations from more than 20 Montana breweries and goodies from food trucks while listening to music by Justin Harris and Pocket Aces, Joe Martinez, Current Flow and local musician Coleton Sherman. Big Arm Hamburger Feed – 11 a.m.-2 p.m. June 21 at the Big Arm Fire Station; Polson Rural Fire hosts this free burger bash while showcasing new trucks and equipment, and providing an opportunity for the public to meet volunteer firefighters. Donations welcome.
"Something's Fishy" – continuing through June 20 at Sandpiper Art Gallery and Gifts in Polson; exhibit celebrates the charm of aquatic life with works ranging rom vibrant fish-themed paintings to unique sculptures, jewelry, and crafts. Visit www.sandpiperartgalleryandgifts.com.
