Polson Seniors: Be careful with campfires, fireworks
Fire season is upon us. Be careful with fireworks and campfires!
We are closed the Fourth of July to celebrate the independence of U.S.A from the king of England. As the story goes, Elizabeth Willing Powel approached Benjamin Franklin on a street in Philadelphia after the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, and asked, “Well Doctor, what have we got, a Republic or a Monarchy?” Ben replied, “A Republic, if you can keep it.”
Stay awake. I woke up thinking about how to continue to protect our Republic.
