United We Stand is theme of Charlo parade
The Marine Honor Guard will lead the United We Stand-themed parade through Charlo at noon July 4. Long-time business and community members Sandy and Curt Coulter are the honored grand marshals. The couple recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
The parade, which typically loops through town twice, will showcase floats, antique vehicles, fire department equipment, horses and more.
An afternoon of fun and games follows for all ages. The American Legion will announce the winners of their raffle. The delectable fry bread made by Nancy Vaughan and her family will be available, as well as hamburgers, hot dogs and other food items sold by local students and 4-H members. In addition, snow cones, cotton candy, a lemonade stand, and walking tacos from the 44 Bar and Outwest Grill will fuel the fun-filled afternoon.
