The project consists of the installation of a new 15,000-gallon buried fiberglass reinforced plastic water tank and decommissioning of the existing 11,200-gallon buried concrete tank. Additional work includes installation of approximately 2,500 lineal feet of 4-inch PVC water main within the Clearview Heights Subdivision near Polson, Montana. Work will also include typical water main appurtenances including hydrants, gate valves, residential water service installations, and surface restoration. The project will provide increased capacity and reliability for the Clearview Heights Water District. Pursuant to ARM 17.40.318, the Department has concluded that the proposed project meets the Categorical Exclusion criteria of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Montana Environmental Policy Act (MEPA).
