Public meeting slated for Post Creek, Ninepipe road projects

The Montana Department of Highways has scheduled a public open house May 1 to provide more information on design and construction plans for U.S. 93 projects for Post Creek and Post Creek Hill and Ninepipe-Eagle Pass Trail areas.

This week, drivers can continue to expect drilling near the Post Creek Hill bridge on Highway 93, with 24-hour lane closures continuing.. Drivers will see automated traffic signals directing alternating single-lane traffic through the work zone, and should plan for a 10-minute delay when traveling through this area.

Right-of-way acquisition for the highway expansions on Post Creek Hill and the stretch between Ninepipe and Eagle Pass Trail are in progress. According to a press release, MDT staff will connect directly with landowners beginning this summer if their property will be affected by construction.
