Jessica Maley, 37
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing away of Jessica Lynn Maley on Feb. 24, 2025, at Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital in Spokane, Wash. A devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and cousin, Jessica will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Jessica was fortunate to meet her beloved husband, James, at an early age and they married when she was 18. They were blessed with three wonderful children. Jessica was an extremely devoted mother who was involved in all her children’s activities.
Jessica was known for her warm heart, strong spirit and character, loyalty and humor. Jessica had a true love of Christ and very strong faith in the Lord.
Jessica loved to sing and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and would sing the national anthem at various events. She also loved photography and captured many beautiful photos for family, friends and clients. She liked clipping coupons for the challenge of making a great buy.
Jessica was a hair stylist at Saloon Envy in Polson. She loved working there and truly enjoyed her coworkers and clients. Jessica chose this work as it afforded her the flexibility to work around her children’s school and sports schedule. Jessica’s life revolved around those that she loved.
She is survived by her husband, James Maley; her children, Carli, Ryatt and Hadley; her brothers, Travis Speed and wife Malinda, Justin Speed and wife Brittany, and Trevor East; sister Cassidy and her husband, Shane Holland; her mother, Linda, and her husband, Eddie Sharp; her father, Mark Speed, and his wife, Tecla; grandparents Harold and Linda Schneider and step-grandparents Dennis and Sharon East; and mother-in-law Lydia King. Jessica is also survived by aunts, uncles, several loving nieces, a nephew and cousins, along with many numerous friends who were truly extended family, and who Jessica loved dearly. We must add her favorite cat, Ke-Ke.
She’s preceded in death by grandparents Connie and Dewey Speed, uncles Steve and Joey Schneider (uncles), stepfather Ray East, stepbrother Michael East, sister Sheena Speed, and brother-in-law Brian King.
A celebration of her life will be held this summer in Polson. Further details will be posted at a later date on Jessica’s social media page.
In lieu of cards or flowers, Jessica would have loved it if you would donate to an organization or volunteer your time somewhere.
