Reum accused of stealing camper
A Polson woman is accused of stealing a camper trailer. Erica Joanne Reum, 39, entered a plea of not guilty in District Court in Polson May 1 to felony theft.
According to court records, on Oct. 15, 2024, the owner of a 1995 Cobra camper trailer contacted law enforcement to report her camper stolen. She indicated it was parked at the Seven Acres Lawn Court and was now on the 4100 block of Whispering Pines Drive in Pablo.
A witness at the Whispering Pines location reported to the camper’s owner that some “tweakers” moved in the week prior. One of them was described as a woman with a shaved head and tattoos and the investigation turned to Reum.
When she was questioned about it, she indicated that she found the camper left on the side of the road and thought it was free.
Judge John A. Mercer set the case for trial on Sept. 8. Reum’s bail totals $10,000.
