St. Ignatius Seniors: Farmers markets opening this month
Farmer’s Markets will be open this month. Take advantage of the fresh fruits, vegetables, and other items they will offer. There is a program for Seniors; Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP); seniors can receive $48 in coupons to go towards the purchase of fresh fruits, vegetables and raw honey sold in Montana at participating Farmer’s Markets. It is for seniors who fall within USDA income poverty level guidelines. For example, a single person with a monthly income of $2413 or less would be eligible. The Mission Valley Food Pantry in St Ignatius (203 Blaine Street) is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. except, they are open the last Saturday of the month instead of that Friday before. It serves St Ignatius, Dixon and Arlee. Questions? Call 406-745-5484.
